Need for Providing High-Level Extra-Curricular Activities for Orphanage Children

In a world that is increasingly driven by skills, innovation, and emotional intelligence, extra-curricular activities are no longer optional—they are essential. While schools often focus on academics, it is in music, arts, sports, science clubs, robotics, drama, and leadership training that many children discover their true talents, build self-esteem, and learn critical life skills. Unfortunately, orphanage children are often excluded from these enriching experiences due to limited resources, societal neglect, and logistical constraints. At the OASIS Foundation, we believe that every child—regardless of background—deserves the same opportunities to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.

In many parts of the world, especially in developing countries, public schools often lack the resources and platforms that can help smart and talented students access life-changing scholarship opportunities. While brilliance knows no boundaries, access and opportunity are often determined by one’s socioeconomic background and school infrastructure. It’s time to change that narrative. Creating an inclusive, transparent, and accessible system for identifying and supporting bright minds in public schools can bridge this inequality gap and ensure that deserving students are not left behind simply because of where they were born or where they study
